Talking Koi pond for the White House

There is certainly room for it in the rose garden.
Maybe a letter writing campaign to address this question?
Bet a pond could be built with no govermental funds but with donations from the public.
    Any interest on this subject?

I can see it now. A Koi pond designed by a Congressional Subcommittee in close consultation with the Obama administration.

It would have to be shallow and full of boulders to comply with OSHA safety regulations and conserve water, with lots of plants and minimal filtration to promote "green" energy for the environment. It would then become the new "government approved" model for all Koi pond construction

    Hey, Jim . . .

Let's make sure that when we stock America's Pond we stock it with America's koi -- lots and lots of Arkensaw Bekko Longfin Kois!

I'm sure if the Obama administration planned it...it would be deep, well thought out, and a joy for all of those who gazed upon it. Of course if bush planned it..it would be something that would continuously decline over 8 yrs to a point almost beyond repair. It would most certainly have it's end as a septic tank....filled with the hopes and dreams of all Americans.
