AND, while I know that it's a secret that Mike and Tom may not want to share, I would like to know more about how Mike, Tom, and you prepare and finish that GC of a kohaku for the show! I have a couple of kohakus that I would like to tinker around with trying to finish for the NWKG Club show in late July so any help with how to clean up the koi and bring out the white would be much appreciated! So please don't bring this thread to a closure yet!
    Lam,
Ok I will try to reszie the photos that we have when we started to bring her up from my pond to the show. Actaully they did a couple of stuff. And to be honest with you I didn't think it will work but to my surprise it did work. Richie has been here exactly 10 days which was last Saturday. New water, new pond and new koi. It's great to work with knowledgeable professionals.

It will be a pleasure to share those photos to everyone. Actually Richie's body is not up to par yet according to Mike and Tom. And it was confirmed by the ZNA Judge from Japan. I might have my photo posted on the Nichirin Magazine but that was according to Yokoyama San the Head Judge. We'll see what happens.

    Larry,
I am learning as I go. Viewing tategoi everyday is a blast. The key thing is practice. The eyes needs to be trained. If you have good eyes no one can take that away from you. It would be nice to go to Japan and mingle with the top collectors and be able to point out the best fish in the best pond.

I was beginning to think you had forgotten about us
    Glad you didn't
So how's the new pond doing? Fish all happy in their beautiful new home?

Fish are all happy we just finished quarantining them. Got all excited when KHV test all came negative. Dealer has sold 4 of his koi and they will be delivered to their new home in about a week or so. will post photos of the kois. We placed a cover on top of the pond to keep too much sunlight going into the pond.
