Ryan, correct me if I am wrong, but Michael is not redoing his main pond. Rather he is just adding the long throw type filtration to his current setup. From looking at the pixs it looks like this will add another 2,000 gal or so to his total volume. Hopefully Michael will chime in and share with us how much gallonage the long throw filtration chamber is.

I have seen a lot of the Japanese long throw.....is the correct name for this type of filtration? Sounds kinda funny).....anyways, of the Japanese "long throw" types of filtration I have seen in magazines and books, they divide the long channel into different compartments. I wonder if there is a difference in whether it is one long channel or a channel with divided compartments. Looking good Michael. Keep the pixs coming!

Here's the crews accomplishment on Monday. The blocks is 6 high and they were able to put a stucco on the outside surface of the blocks. Took apart the old waterfalls.
