    My pond rebuild

Just finished talking to Frank M.. He will start building the new long throw biological filtration which will be approximately 8 to 10 tons of water. Will start posting photos this coming Sunday. Mike hernandez helped me with the planning and design. We started the project by demolishing one wall of the original chambers. The original design will now be a settlement chamber filled with brush (mechanical filtration) and a long throw filtration (biological) will be added.

Michael, what's a long throw biological filtration? Do you have any design you can post? Anyways, good luck with the pond rebuild.

Lam, I think it's the old school type of filtration used where there are chambers for mech, bio, etc. It's the way to go if you have a large footprint for it.

Will post more photos later. Frank delivered the materials Saturday afternoon. After that they started working on the design. The measurement of the biological filtration is 25 ft x 3ft x 4.5 ft

Glad to see you've got your re-build under way, my friend.

Say: You do know about Nancy's Rule, right? The '$25 for every pic of Frank you post on the net' rule?

At this rate, she's probably already shopping for a very special purse.
