Formal announcement ;running for office

Formal announcement;

JR has decided to stand for change. And in that effort I am announcing my run for chairman of the board of WWKC.
I've long been concerned about the few who control anything and everything that goes on within WWKC. This is just not right. It is not democratic and does not pass the transparency test. When is the last time you saw minutes of the board meetings of WWKC? I never have?
So the question is, is it time for the old guard to move aside and give others an opportunity to breathe new life into our organization?
There is just too tight a control held over this organization. And too much power concentrated in the hands of a few.

So if you'd like a new broom to sweep clean the 'good old boy' network that has existed too long within the elite ranks of WWKC, please consider voting for me as chairman of WWKC.
If I'm elected, I promise you that the few bad apples that currently control everything within WWKC will be asked to change or asked to leave.
If you would like to be part of the movement for change and serve on my election committee please contact me or my campaign manager ( to be named in the next few days).

Thank you for your support.
James P Reilly , Candidate for change within WWKC

Talk about sacrifice. JR is willing take on a task far beneath his current status as Supreme Overlord of The Intergalactic Koi Club of the Universe in order to help a fledgling club survive. I for one applaud his dedication to the Koi hobby.

well, like a good candidate, I will travel the internet and send a lot of emails to gain votes. These things are won in the trenches. One vote at a time. I have a few advertising dollars so I will see about having lapel buttons made and maybe some bumper stickers. But cookies don't figure into that budget. I will have a campaign ad available in our organization's magazine hopefully in an upcoming issue ( depending on fund raising efforts).
I'm just one man but the recent events in Iran have me thinking that one man can change things- so in that regard, I 'hope' we have 'change'.
And like in Iran, I may be elected and then serve in exile. But I will serve the koi keepers who vote for me. You can count on that.

I hope I have your support and votes. James P Reilly - first outsider candidate for change within our WWKC.

WHEW, internet campaigning I can do. It's not 100° in the sun while you're standing in the middle of the road flagging down speeding cars and banging on their windows to get a vote. Can ya tell I've done this before?

The cookies were for you when you've been on the campaign trail all day and haven't eaten.

Ok, lets get this show on the road. What do we do next?

Well, I'm checking into a new website. And I hope to garnish votes through the polling data and tracking data they provide. I have a new supporter who will provide me with a war chest for this historical run. ( I hope to break the water garden glass ceiling and be the first actual koi keeper to hold the office)
So things will develop behind the scenes for a few days/weeks.

Until then, please get the word out and maybe we can schedule a series of debates on KP or some other site that offers the space and time?
I look froward to a hard, honest and well fought political battle and hope that individuals will join me in this worthy cause - " The time has come, for a change".

JR

JR for President, I love the ring to that......

JR you have my vote.

Seeing how you will also need financial backing, I would like to contribute these as a token of my admiration for you taking on this presidential running that is way beneath your knowledge.

I would also ask that everyone, add these to there signature, we need to work hard to get the voters to come out. You cannot depend on your clubs, or the BOD.

It is time for a change........

These can be yours for a small donation of $1 all funds to go driectly to.......

from what I've read each of you will do a better job of running the others' organization than the other is doing running theirs...
So i will fully endorse both parties' attempts to run the other
