While the bashers catch their breath a little side story I herd today from a visitor to Biloxi Mississippi. To the West is fishing town called Gulfport which received a 30 foot storm surge. Homes that were built in late 1800's are wiped out. Almost all of them. There is a river or canal that is adjacent to this person's property were all the shrimp boats were tied. The storm surge pushed 80 ' boats into a bridge and stacked them like boxes. They just found a family of 13 Vietnamese drowned in the submerged ship under the bridge. There is only one way in and out to the town. Lines are long and slow for everything. Banks are not dispursing money in accounts due to record loss. Insurance companies are dodging claims like they were rattlesnakes. 80 foot shrimp boats are sitting on oak trees. The only cash rich entity are the casinos and there trying to move them from floating off shore to mainland high and dry status today's vote. People have hay bails stacked up on their Hondas just to try and feed all the cattle. It's not good.

Yeah, its really sad, I watch CNN every day. When you see things like this that has happened makes you realize just how lucky we are. Gators are laying in wait, some are at the door of homes just waiting, make you wonder what is inside that is smelling to keep them their. Human or old food.

I wonder more and more about george's age every time he posts... the constant insinautions about my sexuality SCREAM teenager.

I wish I were actually gay, so I could be incredibly indignant that he considers that to be an insult. Luckily for me, I have quite a few gay friends and don't find the insinuation to be even remotely offensive.

i am not allowed to make vituperative comments out here, brian said so, but I do believe there are a few things I have picked up for the next round of wwf koi thread slams from this jewel of a conversation-

hopefully it wont be nescessary though as experience and real facts beset and resolve immaturity in the beguiled masses, I for one feel very happy we have Brian as our host and noone else, and aim, locked and loaded, for that to carry on, carry on brian, and let us know how we can help

as a famous general said when walking off of a battlefield strewn with dead bodies in WW2 said, "Well, today babies became young men and young men became wise old men."
