Nice pink tutu. Very impressive. Both large and colorful. Does that mean I should not bother with the IM?

Jungle: That sort of personal attack is really not appropriate on this board. JR is fully able to take care of himself, but there are many who will stop visiting the board if that sort of thing is posted. Whatever got you angry, there is no good coming from posting attacks in public. You have a great deal to offer the folks who come here to learn. There are few who can share the experience of koikeeping in the Carribbean. I hope you will focus on what you know about koikeeping, and help build the knowledge base of this board.

Wow, snappy come back! Now please allow me to retort--

I looked though my PMs on this website. There you were – Sept 19th ( this has been eating at you a long time hasn’t it?) ! You were asking me about the formula for bacteria house and if magoi are used as food fish in Japan.

1) Yes, I have the ingredients and the temperature as well as the patent. It is part of a much larger patent group. And as I explained to you and that nut Tewa, it is very much an Asian thing with the application never being the same in all instances anyway, but always around that basic belief that water is altered and used by living tissue more efficiently. The ‘rays’ are key to the thing. If you know anyone who has access to the websites that allow for full patent search you can get it. There is an excellent book on placebo effect and how it has been in human experience and particularly medicine for centuries- you should read it. I’ll see if it is written in Korean and you and your sensei neighbor can tear through it over green tea.

2) magoi are used as food fish. They are fished for and they are raised. They are also imported. I know of a breeder who raises magoi in two color forms. He culls his spawnings for soragoi that he then sells in mass to dealers in Chiba for export to the west. Do not confuse the large black river carp with magoi however. Every once in a while you will see these long black carp like fish in concrete ponds. They get huge, well over a meter. They are not the common carp in black form ( magoi) but rather a different subspecies that does poorly in captivity and will not breed with Nishikigoi.

Mike,
I agree with you. Sometimes I get pretty discouraged with this kind of un necessary conversation exposed to our board.

Dick, no need to get discouraged. Its all part of the range of human behavior! And the readership of such threads is usually three fold the normal post! Somehow related to the reason people show down to look at an auto wreck I guess?

But this board does have a peaceful nature to it and I don't want to rock the boat, so I'll take what you say to heart. Just couldn't let that kind of personal attack go unanswered. Hope you all understand. I'll take a powder for a while and let you all get back to your conversation. Best, JR

Frankly I'm glad he came out with his ridiculous attacks on JR. I've enjoyed reading JR's posts for as long as I've been reading koi forums (admittedly not that long) and am glad I got to read a little history of his experience in the hobby. I'd love to see more folks having a good history like that shown, but the sad truth is, with people on the internet who like to make personal attacks and sometimes even threats, it's sort of risky to give away TOO much personal info.

Gimme a break, he started the fighting and personal stuff, go back off and go read it. Besides, you guys know you can't hardly wait to finish your dinner to come running back here to watch the fights. It is an unstoppable male hormonal force none of us can really control. It is awful, just awful. But hey, it is probably the reason this board has so many hits on it, even koiphen regs cannot resist the lure of watching and being part of a good fight. Otherwise we would all be sitting arounf looking at the screen with nothing to say. I mean, most of you never post until you want to pick sides in a squabble. Then there is luke, the squabblemaster. He fights with noone and everyone.

By the way, I still think JR is EAs undercover lover and that HE, not Bradd Pitt, was the one by the pond with Angelina Jolie......and my Korean neighbor agrees. I still want the BH formula JR, quit being so difficult. And, the tutu worked well. I am impressed by how the crowd loved it. As for the EA thing, wow, touchy for some reason ain't ya?

I can't speak for JR, but if I was by a pool with anjelina jolie, you can be darn sure I wouldn't be hiding the fact!!! That woman is incredibly drool-worthy
