Internet Explorer Version 7

Hey, I just upgraded my browser to the new version of Internet Explorer, PHEW, Its Awesome. I reccomend everyone changes to this, it also is way way more secure than the last browser, so if you are stuck on version 6, please upgrade here.

perfect candidate for "outside"? it's definitely not koi related.

I disagree. Everyone should see this, this could be the difference between someones computer craping out and not.
This version is also a heck of a lot quicker too!

I agree...and I wouldn't install IE 7 quite yet. Microsoft always has bugs on their first releases. Wait a few months.

I'm not at all happy with a lot of the changes though. I don't like the tabs stuff at all! It may be faster and work somewhat smoother, but I can do without all the fancy junk and stay simple.

I've been using Firefox for a long time now.

I've just installed IE7 and it's the same old junk as before made to look like Firefox. Internet Explorer should appear in the disease section of every website.

Firefox 2 is out now as well.

Wot,no koi?

Erik,
Firefox is yet another "browser" , as is Opera to name yet another, there is more then just Internet Explorer out there. I hear Firefox is really great and doesn't have near the security probs IE does.

I'm just a wee bit challenged with this bar, I run incredibar (you can't get this anymore unless you have the program backed up) so I can have my header bar match my comp wall paper, besides I like the background and like to be able to move, add & delete things where I want them. LOL, I'm just picky... so lets see if I can give this computer a heart attack and make it do what I want it to! (I just hate it when the comp & programs tells me no) I'll figure it out!

Graham, nice to see you here!

Hi Kathy,

I'm out exploring.

lilhelper,

Firefox is open source (read free and developed by volunteers) and has become Internet Explorer's main competition recently. They released version 2 one week after IE7 was released.

It is more secure than anything Microsoft have ever put out,it updates itself if you want it to,has a lot of add-on's that you can pick and choose, and most importantly you can uninstall it if you want to unlike Internet Explorer.

They also do a fine email client called Thunderbird (yes I do) which knocks spots off Outlook and Outlook Express.

Have a look see and try it.You'll see where Microsoft got the tabbed browsing idea from too. You can find it here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Unhappy It's a love hate relationship

I love to hate it and hate to love it . Firefox has long been more secure than MSIE anynumberyouwanttochoose.0, but the hackers have recently decided to go after it just because they are @$$#o!e$. I understand the new version has fixed some of those problems, but hackers will still be what they are.
I like the tabs, as they emulate my favorite thing about Opera, but the new MSIE7.0 icons are microscopic in size and a lot of the control tabs I like seem to be MIA
