Live Giant Squid Captured On Film And Photo For The First Time....

Of the coast of Japan 2600 feet below the surface of the big blue pacific ocean, japanese scientist caught a young, but still huge giant squid. They dragged it to the surface and filmed it alive, you can see the video of it on www.bbc.com under the Science/nature tab under News.

Here are some photos though.

Spooky photos, I would hate to be the target of that squid. Ouch..

oh yeah i saw that on television. they said it was the first one caught alive and filmed but it died soon after.
they are thought to be rare.

then they said that hopefully this catch (rare catch) means there are a lot more of them then first thought..

????

maybe theyd need to pull up a fair few more and kill them before they could think there were lots more.
