I don't get them......

go to your user cp and click on edit options.

go to section that states Messaging & Notification
then to Default Thread Subscription Mode select No email notification

Be sure to save and you will not get the notifications.

I think they "just stopped" about 30 minutes ago..thank you oh Computer goddess!

try another choice..there were two that seemed like they would stop it...maybe it is the one you didn't choose
