I highly recommend goldfish with rock bottom ponds with plants

Wow...those Ryukins are to die for! And some awesome SVRs too! Of course, now I'm going to have to find a goldfish forum to learn about them and Ranchu....

I tell you, I went looking for Japanese TVRs, didn't find any, found the one SVR and then immediately got sucked into Ryukin. I mean, I've seen Ryukin in the local pet shop, but nothing like what I bought and certainly NOT like any of the ones pictured in this thread. Just ho hum fantails to me, and that's all I've ever seen in person in my entire life.

Guess this year truly is a year of new beginnings....

Here are some pictures of a new type of ranchu from Thailand.They called it Top/Side view ranchu. Although not really like a Japanese TVR, but still nice ranchus which can be view from top or side.Enjoy!

Ryukins used to be my favs ( the longer tailed version not modern short tail as pictured )

I've been lured away by the siren call of black SVR's
