Stephen H is not the only person on the planet that refers to his koi as "herd". There are many, many people that refer to their koi as a herd. You'll see people refering to their koi as "herd" on every koi board including this one. I'd appreciate it if we stick to the question and not turn this into a discussion on Stephen H as I really don't want to have to move this or close it etc. Thanks.

Iv'e often thought that "herd" just doesn't sound right although it doesn't really bother me to hear someone else using the term. Lacking a better term "group of Koi" sounds better to me. " I am posting photos of a group of my Koi" sounds better to me than "I am posting photos of my Koi herd". Maybe the English speaking Koi world can come up with a new term to describe a group of Koi that has a nice ring to it. Imagine everyone agreeing on that!

Anyway, when I post here, do I have to tell people I also post on other forum too? or I did not post on other forum etc... ?

I think those are very good statements and questions. I think that you have to decide what is really best for you and the hobby.

A group of koi should be called a school of koi. It's just proper and correct grammar.
