Really? I haven't seen any thing on the submission thread that could beat these two fish? These fish are jumbo high class animals. I did see a few hot gosanke ( showas and kohaku) that were very nice- crisp and vivid. But they are much smaller fish and in the case of a few- males.
These shiro's are 30 inch plus fish! And with killer bodies. Pretty hard to trump that fact.
One fish has slightly better body line than the other.
One fish has a hard shiro and the other a soft shiro and one of these traits is considered superior.
One fish has better sumi than the other
The pattern doesn't matter much in the great scheme of things on fish this size.
The reason body and volume is so inportant on fish of this size ( and age) is because it is so rare and hard to maintain.
Likewise, elements like soft skin are most desirable as they set the fish off and the colors that surround it become more three dimensional.
That , in a nut shell, is the definition of superior Jitai.
