You are relatively new and perhaps not familier with some of the "history" behind many people's (here and else where) views as it relates to KP, it owner, administrator and some (small fraction) of its members. When the owner of a board is found posting under other people's names (actual people mind you and withut their knowledge), people get kind of upset. When PM's are edited by the boards administrator, people get upset. When the board owner threatens the national organization and many of its prominent members, poeple get upset. When they are vocal in attempting to undermine that organization, people get upset. There's more but hey, you should get the idea. If you wonder why some here do not hold that board nor its owner/administrator in high regard perhaps you can reflect on why those defending such are a tad bit frowned upon.

Sure We May Have Members That Are Snob But We Ultimately Learn From What They Post And That's What Matters. I would suggest that those that are sharing knowledge are NOT, by definition, "snobs". Otherwise they would not do so and would avoid and ignore others which is the exact opposite of what happens here. I know you were not talking about me since I did not "avoid" you in San Diego.

You are correct about at least one thing Ryan....you should not have hit the reply button.

May look good on paper Ryan but it simply doesn't wash. Besides, many of the "events were prior to the "paper chase." Unfortunately the behaviors continue.

Ryan, I think Steve was talking about the days before the board turned into a non-profit organization. Anyways, it seems stupid to go this route of bad memories, but to some it must have hurted bad for it to go on...

Hello Ryan . . .

Here we are once again. A 'Bito thread about koi has been hijacked by KP to talk about themselves, their issues, their image, their club, their forum, their board, their founder, their whatever.

I think what's lost in this -- and the other gazillion times someone from KoiPen has used 'Bito as a sounding board to try and clear the record, defend the indefensible or promote their agenda -- is: WHO CARES?

That board is dead to us -- and no amount of pettyfogging, nit-picking word games by you or anyone else is going to change that simple fact.

So stop, already.

And let us all get back to discussing and learning about koi.
