If all had gone well, I'd had some photos to post

but my camera person had everything out of focus.....

what a great class. It was fun to see the look on their face as they looked at the hemlock subjects and you could see that they were wondering how they could walk home with a bonsai from that. It wasn't till we did the wiring that the beams and grins started as they could then see the end results. I'm always anxious prior to a class, calm and cool during and then really elated afterwards. I love teaching, wish I could do koi and bonsai 6 days a week.
Would keep me young

Your class sounds wonderful

This sounds wonderful, Dick. I'd love to attend such a class, and I do think we have some here - at certain times of the year. My grandmother had one, single bonsai tree years ago (eons ago, actually - when I was a kid) ... and that always fascinated me. I think it was an oak tree, or similar. I have no idea what happened to it.

I love Koi - and have gone to our local supplier and played with them for a short period of time, interacting with them, etc. What phenomenal animals they are... part human, I think.
