Thread: My New Air lift pond

    I had planned on using a 1/15 hp W.Lim pump but had to use it when a small sequence I was running died on me. so I have a 1800gph mag drive running. I think may not be enough, but it will do for now.

    Woo hoo!!! Look at this thread for the current pics... Help me tweak the airlift on my new pond

    I am actually flowing too much water. More than I need and WAY more than I expected!! I am flowing 9000 gph with a dolphin AV-150 air pump. I think I will divert some of the air flow to a diffuser in the fluidized bed and see if that helps. I guess too much flow is a good problem to have, isn't it?? I am really encouraged by this though. Now I know it will be pretty easy to put by old pond on air-lifts and get enough flow.
