So i got some pictures of the pond drained and bare that i will post in the morning. Got another question here. Im ordering a evolution external pump in the morning(unless anyone has a better brand for the $$$) so i figured i would use a pump given to me by an old man down the road to hold the system im going to build over waiting on a new pump. Problem is i cant figure out the gph or anything on the pump. Its a Emersom 3/4hp-60hz-115 volts-kw.563rpm. Thats all the info on the case. I tried to plug it into a gph pump formula but couldnt get that to work. Anyone know what i should do here?

put a ball valve on the output. So if it tries to deliver more gph that you want, you can dial in resistance with the ballvalve. I only need a 1/2 HP Wave put to do 7000gph to two showers....so 3/4 is like a swimming pool pump used to push water through lots of small pipes. Be careful at the motor may not be sealed or weatherproof...so keep it out of any stand water and out of the rain.

photobucket is more forgiving than flickr. Use the "image" code.

If you are new to photobucket, go ahead and set up some folders. If you ever move your pictures, the link will be broken and we won't see the pictures anymore.
