Um, I bought a 100 micron Cetus screen from Cascade for less than $200, that's what I built my DIY sieve around. Worked great for a year and a half of constant operation. I've moved now to a radial settler and fines filters before bio, but my DIY sieve will probably be reused for my goldfish pond. The 100 micron screen works very well (I keep a very clean pond).

Can you name one source for wedge wire screen to hobbyists that is not a screen replacement for a pond sieve?

This is the only metal wire cloth producer I could find on my list, right now.
Wire, Weave & Mesh Calculations - Belleville Wire Cloth Co, Inc

It's been several years since I looked it up. I surfed looking for combinations of key words and called the ones that looked promising. I was looking for a west coast company and this one is back East so, I don't know if it's a good one.

I do not think you know what wedge wire screen is.

That's cool! ‚ÄčI know that Tim is eagerly looking forward to picking up that Cetus from you next month, too. I'd love to hear how installation/operation is with these.

Too cold and wet out today to do work in the filter pit. Besides, we have a house guest for the weekend. So it will likely be Tuesday before I can start the work.
