    What did I buy?

    Evolution EHF pump 12,600 .... this thing is 3hp, 13 amps ,not a pond pump. I cannot find any specs on it.

    Odd to ask us where you purchased something. Don't you have paper or electronic receipts/emails on such things?

    If this is the pump in question, I can not image a koi pond needing one.

    ES = evolution series
    ESS = self primer series
    BB = big boy
    HH = high head
    HF = high flow

    Talk to Steve at High Desert Koi. He sells lots of Evolution pumps. Untitled Document

    Check the vendor's site for their published return policy. If what you were told matches their policy, you accepted the policy when you chose to do business with them. You can always try to get them to relax the policy if you are ordering a replacement pump from them. If you are not purchasing a replacement, you don't have much leverage.
