If you havn't installed the filter system yet, stay away from the glass pack filter he uses. It's just the same old filter as a swimming pool sand filter other than the sand is replaced by glass.

The high head will cost you lot of money to run and a power outage can be disastrous if it continues for several hours and restarts by itself. The oxygen in a close pack like that will be used in short order and the anarhobic bacteria will make the water toxic.

There's a reason the koi hobby stopped using swimming pool filters long ago.

A pond over 6000 gallons doesn't need to be turned over every hour. Every two hours is fine (even 3) and will save you more than the pump cost every year you operate the system. More importantly it will help conserve energy at a time that our nation needs our cooperation.

If you have a flat bottom, you can install a slope toward the center so it's easier to clean.
