welded plastic liner?

I saw a photos somewhere of a pond made out of 1/4 inch thick rigid black plastic material. They laid out the bottom , cut in the drains then stood up the outside wall and welded it to the bottom . does anyone have info/pictures on such a pond or the process. thx in advance

I don't know about that one but Bend Tarp and Liner sells a liner that looks like black figerglass cloth, is super strong, and can be seamed to any shape with a heat gun. They can make liners to fit. I used one of their liners in my 12,000 gal pond and they came out and did several seams for me. Maybe this would work for you.

The stuff I saw was plastic sheeting in 10 or 12 foot lengths and about 6 ft. tall, 1/4 to 3/8 thick, and slick. they had a special gun that actually welded it togeather like metal. just cant remember where i saw it.

Well I mean I saw the same post and all I can remember it was a UK member and he had mentioned that it was HDPE and used frequently in his country.
