Hired Excavating Company

I hired a real company today and they will dig it and remove the dirt. They will also put 6.5 yards of stone in it so it will be ready for my 10 inch pour. But they are useing two pieces of equipment with two operators. And the job will cost $1300. It should be done the beginging of next week. I hate to pay soo much but its a tight space to work in with my house/landscaping. They say they need a small excavator that can fully rotate ($500 a day) and a front loader to keep moving the dirt.

Getting dug in the am. This is the final markings for the dig. 26ft by 10ft by 7.5 ft deep. It will be 6ft deep after the gravel/concrete pour and will hold roughly 12,000 gal.

Looks good, Mike.

Sounds like you're not just doing it right this time, you're doing it great.

Keep posting those build pix, OK?
