Got Real!

Got allot done today. New Pond reshaped and leveled, 3/4 inch stone put in,drains and return lines put in, wire mesh put in and concrete poured in the pond and filter pit. All of this was done in 5 hours. Heres some PICS from today.

Yes! That's it! The Speed method. Hopefully you got a good trowel on it, too. Or are you going to two pour the floor? Was it flooded this morning?

Starting designing the shape of the walls with block tonight. Tomorrow I will be drilling and taping in my rebar. Then I'll be going after it. It looks like it will be 20ft by 12 ft and 5ft deep. I wanted deeper but I had allot of ground water and caving issues. New PICS tomorrow night.

Todays progress, drilled in the rebar and set the first blocks to the shape of the pond. Heres some PICS.

Yes they are Sugar Loaf Drains. They are by far the best you can get. They are much better made than any others on the market. And due to their depth there is no need to drop down with 45's you just run a 4 inch right out of them. They have 14 inches of depth so you can burry them to the deph of your pour.
