new pond

Hi:
I just moved my koi (which were in an aquarium) to a pond we just made....They're doing alright, I think, they sit on the bottom during the day & at night they start to swim around....While they are getting used to their new surroundings, how often should I feed them? Any help would be appreciated.

Feeding really depends on the water temperature and how much they eat. Another consideration would be that you have just moved them into a pond with a new filter. If you feed them you will certainly get ammonia spikes so as you feed them watch all of you water quality parameters and deal with them accordingly.
