So that is something I honestly had not considered and should be, what would you recommend for a high volume low operating cost pump and how would you set it up to have minimal impact on the feature other than pumping water (not seen or heard)?

Their are a lot of pumps that consumes low power compared to a submersible pump. A regular submersible pump consumes like 10 amps on an average.
