A friend here at a larger pool build with Gunite and bill was $6800 for the concrete/rebar part, so certainly possible.

Yes, but $35,000 is too much.

In Dallas a few years back, the excavation, stell, plumbing stubbed out and gunite was $17,000 for my 18,500 gallon pond. Sooooo, depending on locational differences, 10,000 gallons w/ 2 bottom drains skimmer, Nexuses etc should be doable for around $20,000 plus polyurea?

It would depend on a lot of things. The level of quality you expect, the type of filtration and plumbing, raised or inground, edge treatment, waterfall or more formal with little or no falls, sealing surface to line the shotcrete with, type of prefiltration, system for dischage water to landscape or sewer, aesthetics etc.
The hole is only worth about $500.00 to $1500.00 depending on accessability.
$35.000 for the entire project, turn key, from a qualified professional pond builder is way low.
Basics maybe but not the whole package.

Come to San Antonio Texas and you too can have a Gunite and polyurea 10,000 pond complete (equiment, some landscaping) for under 40,000.

Guts, remember the question Moikoi asked originally was can rebar, gunite and polyurea be done for 35k of the hole is already dug. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE FILTRATION.

In my opinion, yes, depending, as Kent put it, on the little details. Is there a waterfall? How big is the waterfall? What is the treatment for the coping to be? Most of the cost involved in building a pond that size is the filtration and plumbing.

Sorry Steve, we're not in Kansas(Dallas) anymore!LOL Here in California labor is a tad bit more expensive and so are materials. I would say, depending on accessibility to the yard where this pond would be installed, you're looking at closer to $60k for everything, turnkey!
