    Old Water Well

Ok this may be a totally dumb thought, but while outside today thinking about my plans for the new koi pond location/size etc I realised my location was very near to where our old well is. We know long use it, but is it possible to somehow use this in my pond plans?

Maybe, maybe not. First, how deep is the well? Then what's in the water.

You can find out by first pumping out enough of the water for a clean sample then take it to a water filter/conditioner company and have it tested to see if it's suitable.
