    New pond design

I"m building my new pond right now it's one big construction sepparted in two so it will become 2 different ponds with there own filtersystem but with a technical dry room in the middle where the pumps and the uv's heating and so are.

What do you guys/girls think of my concept?

For filtration i was thinking first my own concept: an air sieve and the maybe kaldness and then some japanese mattings?

I was first thinking of an aerted bottemdrain but i'm just going to put a big aeration ring in the pond it's a bit cheaper this way.

The full pondvolume will pass the filter every 2 hours and the skimmer will give some circulation in the pond.

The design concept appears to be good. Can you give us an idea of specific sizes of the ponds/filters, pumps, UV, you know, the usual particulars that you came up with to fit the design concept?

    New Pond

Where are you located? Or the pond located? That has a lot of bearing.

Is it a central filter for both or different filters? If central then any virus in one is transferred to the other.

Size ? Depth? Number of fish you plan to keep?

I am new to Koi Ponds too, but have a lot of years with facilities for other species.
