I assume these filters would have to be installed under gravity flow, is that correct. Also in my case I would be interested in flows in the range of 5,000 to 6,000 USA gph.

    Hi Bob,

I constructed a model that is suitable for either pump fed or gravity fed (so far the models on the market are either for gravity installations or for pump fed installations). All filters have a collector chamber before the drum chamber. There are ball valves in each of these 2 chambers to choose from which chamber the water level is monitored by the sensor. To adapt it to the system there is a switch on the control panel that makes the water level sensor giving the signal for flushing when falling (position for gravity fed installation) or when rising (position for pump fed installation). For the gravity installation the ball valve in the drum chamber will be opened and for the pump fed installation the ball valve in the collector chamber will be opened. The sensor is mounted outside in a transparent pipe which allows easy setting for the flushing.

    Flow rates available are:

    12 cbm/h (3170 USA gph)
    18 cbm/h (4750 USA gph)
    30 cbm/h (7900 USA gph)
    50 cbm/h (13200 USA gph)
    cheers.....

    Sven

Svenni, I don't know anything about import/export, taxes, the law concerning any of that stuff but I'm in the US and I buy collectibles from England on eBay. Just for your information.
