ZNA Potomac Young Koi Show May 30th

We are having a young koi show this year. This is intentionally a small show as its being held in a businesses parking lot and is open to any ZNA members. We do have a few tanks left so if you are interested please contact me. If you want to come see the show its a one day event in Leesburg Virginia at Vienna Pet and Aquarium of Leesburg.

I really need to thank you Jim, along with Mike and your club, and also the host of the show, Vienna Pet and Aquarium of Leesburg, for the opportunity to judge your first ever young koi show. It is I who benefit from being able to see and judge more and more koi. Just like being able to bench your large show in September, again, the more Koi you, the better your eye becomes...

It was a great day with some great young koi!

I would think this should be a model for any clubs out there who do not want to put on a "full-blown" koi show, but rather a smaller, 10-12 tank member only show, limiting the sizes and quanties of koi shown (obviously tailored to your specific club circumstances, etc). Set up Saturday morning, benching, judging, award presentations and teardown all in one day. A great club exercise all the way round.

Thanks again, Patti and I really appreciated everyone's hospitality.

    See you all in September!
