    Havn't a clue but they are fairly large. Will take a pic with someone in background for scale the next time.

    Hello Diego

    Using only one pond for now. Airation is not being used. Did not use airation last year either. At this stage the Fry seem to have no problem in these larger earthen ponds.

    They look like 1/4 to 1/3 acre (.10-.15 ha). Are they the classic style which are pumped dry at harvest and then allowed to refill with groundwater?

    Your friend would know better, but they can probably be fed 5 pounds of feed per day without oxygen depletion - as long as the weather is sort of normal.
