    dear friends

I may be absent for an extended time from this board. My bride of 35 years
underwent 3 1/2 hrs of open heart surgery today. lots of extenduating circumstances but bottom line is that if all goes well, it will be 6-8 weeks of recovery time before the house hold gets back to "normal".

your good thoughts and prayers will be coveted!

    Dear Dick,

You will be truly missed on this board while you are away helping your lovely bride in her recovery from heart surgery.
However, family comes first...so do take care.

Prayers and thoughts with you and your bride.

    Good Luck,
    GarryC

    Dick,

Just yesterday I spoke to JoAnn before we talked on the phone, she sounded upbeat as usual, this news comes as a total shock. Sharon and I will keep both of you in our prayers, that all will heal and be back to normal quickly.
