    Koi question

Do koi bury up in mud? Reason I am asking is when I go out to feed my koi in the mud pond the mud is always stired up at the banks of the pond. Just wondering if this is the koi or something else.

Koi are carps. Carps like to "dig" around in the mud or in a dirt layer in a normal pond. If there is one.

They are rooting through the mud looking for food. After this much time, there will be a variety of critters. Just wait another 6 weeks. No telling what you would find then if you ran some of the bottom mud through a sieve.
