Could Northern Cal use another Koi show???

Could Norcal use another show lets say early April. If this was too happen would you attend? and what kinda seminars would you like to see. Is this a good time for you koi to show if you are from the area???

I always hear of peopel wanting to show at ZNA So. Cal but we all the Norcal people get a littel heisitant to show because of temp differences.

What you say koi Kichi people of NorCal.. is this a good time to show? Let me know.

Let's see if we can make a dream a reality for this to Happen....

Well Keokoi you know how I feel about this...I would be willing to help and front $100,000 for the GC....Yeah right, probably get hobbyist from Japan coming to win that cash...Enough talk, it's time to walk....Joe we have the hobbyist here just need to bring them out....This is Duke Ngyuen's Valley, would love to see him compete again and pass the torch to the new hobbyist like you Keokoi..

Hmmm, that would be a site to see some fo Dukes koi come out. Yeah I could compete against duke.. (yeah right ) anyhow yeah I am certain some big one would come ot of the wood works. I think The Bay Area alone has over 2000 hobbyists.

Anyhow.. Would like to see some people from up North like WA and Or, to come down.. What you say??

any more i don't know any koi cracies from Wa or Or that would bring fish. 10 years ago maybe but most have phased out and occassionally support local shows. it's cyclical. Hopefully a new crop will come along.

I was gonna suggest a youg fish show till you mentioned duke. Wouldn't want to exclude him. But a young fish show would be different enough and easy to do.
most people who would come to a show like that would have heated ponds and could match temps.

Strange as it may sound, the club in spokane charges the gen public to get in to see their show at the local fairgrounds. ( free to koi club members ) Rather than
use that as income, promote the funds to go to the make a wish foundation. That may have a different draw than just another speaker for just koi kichi's.
That way the show would not be blatantly self serving.

On the other hand--we Washingtonians could use a Koi Fest long about April! It would not be a big deal to fly down, but to show.......
