    13.5 hours a day X 7 = 94.5 hours a week

Then I go home and tend the koi there!

Only time off since Christmas was to go to the National 2 weeks ago.

    Maurice,

Maurice i am glad you had that time off as it was a pleasure to meet with you again at the National

To most of us you have the best job in the world and after seeing you in action at the farm i must say good luck to you mate as you work bloody hard.I would also like to say the results you have been having is because of this hard work one of which is happily swimming around in my pond

    Thanks

I think 15 to 20 hours a week is about right for me generaly. Somtimes its more if you want to include chillin' next to the pond.

Depending on what you mean by spending time on your koi... Working or enjoying them?

To keep water quality up...less than 1 hour per week on two ponds, 900 and 1700 gallons each...This is working...

Hanging out with the koi, watching them swim, about 4-5 hours a day... Accessing this and other boards, learning more about koi, 1-2 hours/day... Pure enjoyment...

Maurice what you're doing is not working it's doing what you want to do for the rest of your life, so it's more like playing... You'll probably never retire... You're probably the envy of most posters on this and other boards...

    Aloha! Mike

About 1-4 hours per week on maintenance depending on the season.
Watching them....I don't know...I guess as much as I can.
Spending time on boards learning, researching.....Too many, but never enough!
