    Yamabuki babies

    Hello all

Although these koi were a random scoop from mud pond brought home to help kick off the bio system in above ground tanks, there are a few that are catching my eye. Have a look at the size of these yamabuki babies. They are surely jumbos like there mother.

Careful in case there's any Piranna blood in them!

Looking good though Keifer, some great colours.

    Thanks Kiefer,
Nice selection of varieties, are all the koi the same age?
How old are they now and how big is their mother?

    Morning all

They were all hatched on April 26th and 27th. I have never measured the female yamabuki, but she is pretty big and broad.

    Thanks Kiefer,
That is some excellent growth, my guess would be close to 20cm on the Yamabuki. How big is their mother?
