    Hello Alan. Welcome.

You'll have much to read in the next few days and weeks here, years worth of searchable information, supplied by caring, energetic people from around the world.

Study hard even before you get the bulldozer out there transforming your acreage into tidy rows of various sized ponds, (like 1/2 acre, 2 acre. you know, a few of each), so that you will have all the water that you need to grow a bounty of beautiful koi.

When it is time to buy oyagoi you will again be able to lean on the knowledge of the folks here, a couple of whom have made "dream come true" trips to Japan for that purpose. But remember, parents are not just fish with something wrong with them, they are fish with something very right.

Read up and then share your pics.
Mickey the windowman, the world is a very big place.

Aquitori says Keokoi says "even sun shines on dogs ass..." so I say... Buy Ugly Early.

    What would you do?

Greetings Alan! (sorry for the erroneous subject header there)
