The Atlanta Koi Club is presently planning its 11th successful Koi show. Because of the immense support that we have had over this past 10 years, we fully expect this show to be our biggest and most successful show ever. We’re making every reasonable effort to have all people that have contributed to this success back to help us celebrate these wonderful 10 years. Your presence, support, and continued contribution have been the #1 reason for our success.

There will be a Wet Lab hostd by Vicki Vaughan! Wet Lab Registration included in the Exhibitor Packet.

Stone Mountain Park is just 9 miles away, while several popular attractions in downtown Atlanta are within 20 miles. Please be sure to ask for the Atlanta Koi Club or Atlanta Koi Show rate.

Please note these recent additions to the Registration Form:

The owner of the Reserve Grand Champion must be a member of the Atlanta Koi Club. The reason is that the Reserve Grand Champion automatically becomes our AKCA Koi of the Year. Therefore all exhibitors are encouraged to join the Atlanta Koi Club.

Koi fitting any of the following criteria are NOT eligible for this show and should NOT be transported to the show site.

    1. Former Grand Champions: These Koi have already received our highest award and are retired from competition at our show.
    2. Koi that are ill or injured: Koi that have visible signs of illness or injury will not be allowed to compete in the show. The decision of the Benching Team will be final.
    3. Koi that have been exposed in any way to Koi Herpes Virus (KHV): Examples include, but are not limited to,: surviving a KHV infection, sharing the same water system with a koi with KHV, sharing the same water system with a KHV survivor, receiving a vaccination of a live virus KHV serum.

RGC owner does NOT have to be club member!!!

I screwed up!!! (now there is a shock )

I had understood that our club's tradition was indeed that the Reserve Grand Champion automatically became our Koi of the Year. As such, it woud have to owned by a club member.

THAT is NOT the case!!! I misunderstood and reported things incorrectly!!!

As with many clubs, our AKCA Koi of the Year will simply be the highest ranking fish at the show owned by a club member. The AKCA rules exclude the Grand Champion because tthat goes into the AKCA Champion of Champions contest.

I am very sorry for this. The registration form is being amended. Any forms already submitted with have that rule scratched out and not enforced.
