    Very nice fish Meg, long term injoyment. I think they say Omosako fish usually show their potentail after three year or so.

    As for my they have not change much, they are 20" and 21". Still waiting for the Sumi coming up on head of the small one.

            Finally got around to taking a recent picture of #150 (pick #1) that I received as a bag buddy from Jeff Speck. She is about 21" and has a 5 o-clock shadow patches where an optimist like myself thinks sumi will return someday. I've had her for about 10 months and haven't seen much change.... but did I mention I was an optimist?

            I normally don't give my koi names, but somehow this one obtained the unfortunate nickname of "white pig" because of her color and her noisy eating habits.

              Keep the faith Steve. There is something about this one that keeps me thinking that she is a long wait project with sumi lurking beneath... If we could just swap some of your shiroji for some of my sumi we'd both be in tall cotton
