I think it's human nature to focus on the excitement of any hobby. In ours in the hunt for a new koi. We may go to japan for the draining or we may be standing by at our favcorite dealer's when the word is out that a shipment is expected.

But really, the hobby is day to day improvement of existing conditions for the koi
we have in our charges. What can we do to make a difference in their health, growth, development. can we tweak a system and get more out of it. Do we have a reliable Q tank system. Can we make a custom carrying case foir the back of our car to move koi in on that's well insulated and padded. It's the little things in detail.

if I remember correctly the japanese word for that is kaizan, or daily improvement.

Now is the time of the year to have people over and BBQ and enjoy the pond.

Yup!!!!!!!! My door is open, come on over, and enjoy!

We definatly need some new koi web sites. I must have 3-4 pages of koi sites in a koi folder saved in my favorites, and I am tired of looking at the same fish
