I have this little guy who started to grow a bump
on his head bilaterally. It started growing quite fast and it seemed to me he was losing scales. He didn’t seem like he was having an issues with swimming or showing signs of anxiety so I let him be. I now regret that because as I pulled him out I see what I thought was just lost scales in open flesh. Can someone tell me what it is and if I’ve doomed the rest of my koi to catch something? I’m not positive how to post a picture here but it’s truly disturbing up close and so I hesitate to even describe it lest I upset someone.
