  • Koi Bito 6, and subscriptions!

    Brian,

When is KB6 scheduled to be out and will that include subs renewal info?

Also, any details of what's going to be in this one? Thanks.

    You can't ask that

Only Dick is allowed to ask when and what is in the next issue, it's tradition!!

I believe there may be a couple of new adverts in it

      Hi Folks,

What's in the next issue? Part two of the young breeders article, Another article from the Kyoeikai explaining the hardships of koi farming and their beefs with the govt, how to read/appreciate/select tpsai by Tatsuo Ozawa, Kokugyo - Mr. Otsuka (pond tour and interview), show updates, and an official announcement by the Shinkoukai on KHV.

Should be out around the time of the World Nishikigoi Summit. I wanted to have it out earlier, but all the happenings with KHV and my real estate ordeal have really put me behind. Apologies in advance!

          No Nogyosai?

Oh Brian, I was so hoping the single pic from the 2003 Nogyosai in the photo forum was just a tease. I've been looking forward to seeing that Hi Utsuri without photo doctoring and maybe learning something about it & its breeder. Maybe another issue?

It seems to be months since I received #5 and the dvd. Time is real slow isn't it?

I swap magazines with my club chairman, he borrows my Bito in return for NI. We each get each others mag for 3 weeks.

This guy has been a koi keeper since the early 80's and has been indulging in breeding koi on a very small but serious scale for many years.

Age and experience has not diluted his enthusiasm for the hobby and his reaction to Bito is like a kid in sweet shop.

Mark brought some back issues along to our last club meeting (he was the speaker) and I saw Mark getting his ear bent by him. I also overheard our vice-chairman discussing Bito with Mark. THe word is getting out.

Go to the home page. It is easy to subscribe through the website.

And if you haven't checked it out already, go through the photos listed on their own page. Brian's album is very interesting.
