    June 4-5 Oakland, California
    Bay Area Satsuki Aikokai
    11th Annual Satsuki Bonsai Show at the Lakeside Park Garden Center, 666 Bellevue Ave. Show hours are 10AM-5PM both days. Demonstrations using mature trees each day at 1:30PM. Large selection of plants and mature trees on sale.

    June 4-5 San Mateo, California
    Sei Boku Bonsai Kai
    22nd Annual Show “The Flowers of Spring” at the San Mateo Garden Center, 605 Parkside Way. Show hours are 11AM-4:30PM both days. Demonstrations 12noon-3PM both days by Steve Jang and Tim Kong on Saturday and Steve Iwaki and Mike Page on Sunday. Door prizes, free Dr. Bonsai tree clinic, vendor sales, and member plant and pot sales. For more information contact Jane Lancaster at (408) 776-6719.

    June 5 Seaside, California
    Monterey Bonsai Club
    38th Annual Exhibition at the Monterey Buddhist Temple in Seaside at 1150 Noche Buena. Show hours are 11AM-4PM. Demonstration at 2PM by Katsumi Kinoshita. Sales area will include bonsai, pots and plants. For more information, email [email protected].

      sheeish, we have a bay in our area! and a space needle (lol)

      would love to be down there snooping around with youi guys. This new month (june) our local koi club has a pond tour and bar b q planned.

      I got my pond (outside) cleaned and refilled this past weekend and hope to put the asagi's out next sunday.

          I'll be at the bonsai shows for sure. have fun to those who are going to the koi events! Take lots of pics and of course some blue fish for our resident blue fish lover..

            I am goin to chill today and enjoy Koi....Smoke and Koi the only way to enjoy, especially working close to 15 hrs lastnite....
