    Pond Heating

    Aloha all,
I know this is the wrong season to be bringing up this topic, but since I'm still treating my favorite Sanke and a couple of others for winter related problems, this has been on my mind a lot. I was wondering if any on the list can give me any ideas about heating systems for ponds, and pros and cons of various systems. I'd sure appreciate any ideas so I can get started getting ready, after the winter we just had I can't put my fish through that again.
    Mahalo in advance,

Well I can start by saying unless it's for a small Q-tank, stay away from electrical heating. (unless you own a power plant.)

Living where you do, might you have room for a solar heater with a buffer tank? I bit of a turd to install but saves mondo energy!
