Save The Date: Central Florida Koi & Goldfish Show, March 22-24, 2019

The "Orlando Show" will be March 22-24, 2019 at the Avanti Palms Resort & Conference Center, 6515 International Drive; Orlando, FL 32819.

For several years the show has been held earlier in March, on the weekend when Daylight Savings Time starts. But, for 2019 we had to shift to a later date to get all the space needed for the show and avoid conflicts with California shows so many of our regular vendors attend.

The show committee has had 3 months to recover from the 2018 show and is now getting in gear with planning for 2019. It's going to be another great show!

Thanks for the reminder, I went this year and was really a great show! For us here in North Florida it's like a "kickoff" for the season. I'm looking forward to the yearly meet-up of all the regulars.

Preparations for the show are in full swing. There is a great line-up of vendors so far. We have filled all available spaces for koi and goldfish dealers, but do have some available for dry vendors.

Show time! Set-up begins tomorrow. The official opening is 1PM on Friday, but some dealers will be arriving on Thursday afternoon and will start selling as soon as their koi are released. A very full day of seminars on Saturday (just $10 for the day). All vendor spaces are taken and every show tank is reserved. It's going to be a great show.

Headed that way in the very early hours of Friday. My koi will be there hours before I arrive.

Some may have seen that the hotel had a water main break in the wee hours of Thursday morning. Kind of hard to set up a koi show without water. But, it got fixed by afternoon and the set up is done. It just took longer than usual. All is ready..... Early arriving koi dealers had some good sales late in the day on Thursday.

CFKS was again a great experience run by a super team. Even the flood of 2019 (water main break) did not slow the show! There were some fantastic koi to be seen in the show bowls and excellent koi available for sale. The party at the "koi table" after the banquet was great fun. What happens at the koi table stays at the koi table.
