    This Kindai Showa Should be Fun To Watch

    10 1/2 inch Ooyama bred kindai showa. Should be fun to watch this one develop.

    The sumi and hi on top of each other on the nose is an interesting risk.

    I really like it at first glance. This could get Baby Champ...

    Nice fish.

    Mike - shiro is better than photo. Body and head shiro the same.

    Aquatori...bought it locally. Just came in from Japan. Saw a photo but wanted to see it in the flesh. Expensive but very nice.

    Dan, nice pickup...Shot I would love to buy more Showa but Sumi doesn't come up good in my pond...Oh well, nice Showa any hoo...

    Very nice,looks like there may be quite a bit of Sumi in the future what do you think? Do you think this is a male?

    Sumi is in all the right places and appears potentially to be a good amount of it. A couple of us checked this koi and it appears female from what we can see. Time will tell though. Definitely want to photo this one quite often in the next few years.
