    Best heaters on the market for a pond...

    looking for a heater for my pond. Its damn cold near the coast.. I aint gonna buy any koi until Fall so I want to spread the money inot my pond..

    Dan Blatt ever hook up your takagi Jr.?? Got any pics..

    Just want to know who is using what???

    Hi Joe,

    A lot of us guys in the UK use gas heating from a separate boiler.

    I for instance run a 50,000btu boiler with a 130,000btu Heat Exchanger to heat my pond which is 4500gls.This is because if i was to use an electric one it would cost more to run....as if it doesn't cost enough now!!!!

    Sandy S. out here in Sacramento put together a system with a tankless gas water heater.

    I think she wrote up an article saying exactly how she did it.

    Check the koi heating system on the Keirin Koi site. No need for heating in Florida, but some folks I met last Spring from "up North" were saying good things about it.
