The next meet will be a BBQ at the Dunkel's House...Now if you want to see a "Big" pond make the drive up to Brentwood August, take HWY 5 there. It will be a club flea market of pond stuff so any member having extra pond stuff they can sell it at the next meeting.

I am happy to see your pond is in order now with the fish.

    Hey, Steve . . .

glad to see you've successfully weathered that particular storm and are back to enjoying your pond and beautiful koi.

Know you've learned several important lessons from that experience -- and that's what's important. It's just too bad you lost some beautiful koi along the way.

Thanks, I try to make it to the next meeting. As for the line up picture. When I stood up on the retaining wall around the pond the koi got spooked and then they schooled together and came back in a line. I thought it was a cool pic. Also you can tell how clear my water is now because the Koi were on the bottom of the 3' area when these pics were taken.
    Thanks Steve

Yep, happy koi until a unknown visiter. Came home to 3 edge flagstones and 4 river rocks that were on top of the flagstone in the pond. My 4 step is the only one with a scrape on his head. Why is it always the favorite fish gets the blunt of the bad stuff? It's not bad just took the color off the head and no blood. Don't know what it was but thinking heron. The dog was locked up today and will be tomorrow also due to concrete work. So I put the net back on the pond today and it will stay on there.
    Thanks Steve

    Steve,
keep pristene water parameters and the koi should heal up just fine as it sounds like only skin was taken off. Things always seem to happen to favorite koi first.
