    What do you think of this Showa?

    What do you think of this Showa? Dainichi 69cm Sansai. The fish comes with a price tag of Y5,000,000....

    The photo makes her left pectoral look smaller than the right one, and there is frayed edge. She looks young, but has the fullness of a more mature koi... holds it extremely well. Sumi is looking near finished. How old and long is she? ... quite a price. Dianichi must think highly of her potential.

    Nice body line, quality and pattern. For 5,000,000 yen I would like to have better pecs.

    I love this Showa and dare not find any faults on her!

    She looks a lot like mine that I posted a few days back except that she is 5cm bigger and the sumi is better than mine at this stage. I have one from the same batch thats 59cm already but the Hi got very thin because of the fast growth so I think it might be over for that one. I paid 250 000 yen for mine each...so I guess my eye is not nearly good enough to understand(besides pattern) what this one has for the future that I don't see in mine.
